Response To Any Emergency
- Notify 911 (if necessary) and the principal. Principal notifies Superintendent.
- Notify CPR/First Aid certified person in school building of medical emergencies, if necessary. (Names of CPR/First Aid certified persons are listed in Crisis Team Members -section 15)
- Seal off high-risk area.
- Take charge of area until incident is contained or relieved by Principal or Administrative Assistant.
- Assemble Crisis Team.
- Preserve evidence. Keep detailed notes of incident.
- Refer media to School Public Relations Officer.
